It’s no secret that copper water requires an acquired taste. While we love the power-packed health benefits of pure copper water, sometimes getting started on this wellness routine has us reaching for something more crisp and refreshing. Cue these heavenly little elixirs of infused copper water. They’re a sure-fire way to feeling instantly refreshed and as though you’re winding down at the spa all day, everyday.
Infused copper water is a little different to what we normally experience at the spa or while dining out in restaurants. As opposed to simply adding ingredients to drinking water and ta da - infused water is ready!, infused copper water requires an additional primary step:
Steep filtered water overnight in a copper vessel.
The process of storing water for a minimum of 5 hours must be done using room temperature filtered water. To avoid disrupting the magic happening within (i.e. copper oxidisation to release positive ions in the water), do not add any additional ingredients to the vessel. Once done, you can pour the copper water into serving glasses or a copper bottle, and only then add the ingredients to create your very own infused copper water!

Add sliced lemons and whole basil leaves in 8oz of water for a citrusy bite.
